“It is first of all necessary
for you young people to give a forceful witness
of love for life, God’s gift.
This love must extend from the beginning
to the end of every life”

                                                                                  -Pope John Paul II

Hey everybody, this page will hopefully give you a chance to get to know a little bit about me.  In my life I have found one driving idea that God has introduced me to again and again, and that is that God has so much he wants to give us and there is so much he wants to do with us, the key is that we have to go out and get it.  It does not simply fall from the sky and into our laps, we need to seek it!  I hope that God will inspire all of us to continually seek it, whatever it may be.  Let me share with you some of the gifts that I have found.

I started out my career in youth ministry as a freshman in high school by joining and taking a leadership role in my parish youth group.  This was quickly followed by my enrolling in the club called the young apostles at my alma mater, Lancaster Catholic High School.  After graduating from LCH, I went on to Desales University where I joined up with the school’s retreat team as well as their prayer and praise group and took a active role in the campus ministry program there.  During my second year at Desales, I joined up with Tom to start the Catholicfx ministry which you have come to know today, and continues to work in the ministry today.

When I was a young apostle I really looked up to the leaders on our retreats who played guitar and led worship, and I was very blest to be able to eventually play worship music with them by the time I graduated, since then music has been a great blessing in my life:  whether it be leading a group in worship with my guitar and letting the Holy Spirit use me as a tool to minister to his children and to me, or simply playing along with someone else adding whatever I might be able to add to each song they play.  One of the great joys I had was to be able to play with Jesse Manibusan, Martin Doman, and the worship band from Lancaster Catholic, Final Hour.

Stemming from leading worship, I eventually found a passion for speaking.  God has blest me with a wacky sense of humor, and I LOVE to use it!   He has also blest me with the message which I mentioned before, that God has so much he wants to give you, but you have to go out and get it!

Also as a young apostle as well as a CFX minister, I have had the chance to take speaking and turn it into a more interactive workshop.  I have found the ability to lead workshops very exciting because so much of how it goes suddenly depends upon the group, and not on the presenter!  Each time I go out to run a workshop it is another chance for me to let go and really let God work as he sees fit.

Where ever and what ever I may do, whether playing mass music or leading a workshop, I hope that God will continue to use me so that I can touch the lives of as many of the youths as possible that I meet, and also that I may be open enough to the promptings of the Holy Spirit to receive those special times when the youth I meet can change me!
