The CatholicFX Team is comprised of a core team
of 4 young adult ministers: Tom,
Natalie, Rick, and Ryan It is also
complemented by both college and high school age volunteers.
With a strong desire to spread the truths
of the Catholic faith with others and share their experiences, they have a unique ability to relate to young people because they are
young themselves - they are able to gain young persons' trust and respect and help guide participants with their personal testimonies of faith.
CatholicFX also has ministers who are capable to lead events
by themselves. Perhaps you don't need a full
band/team for your next youth event, your teens can still experience CatholicFX through one of our team members: Ryan, Nate,
and Tom all are capable worship leaders, speakers, emcees, youth group night leaders.

Let your youth experience the FX of being Catholic!
The advantage of using an outside ministry team is that your whole youth group gets to grow in their
faith together. Sometimes, the "leaders" of the youth group are always administering events, this is their chance to grow
TOGETHER with their peers. This is also a great way to get a Youth Ministry started the right way! Leave it to us to get
your teens excited about their faith and bring the Effects of being Catholic to your parish!
There are many gifts of the Spirit and we seek to utilize all of them. We have a wide range of Ministries
that accomadate a number of events, but they are not limited by the specific events listed. If you feel that we can help
your youth ministry in some other way please contact us and we will be happy to help you. Also, though many topics are listed,
if you have another "theme" or "message" you would like us to convey to your youth just let us know!

What does
it mean to be Catholic? What are some of the FX of being Catholic? Catholic FX is an organization dedicated to spreading the liberating
news of the Catholic faith and what happens when one chooses to live the faith fully and claim the birthright given by Christ:
to be a son and daughter of God. The FX of being Catholic go beyond the physical. As Catholics, when we
accept Christ into our lives through the Eucharist we are transformed, as St.
Paul puts it: spiritually, mentally, as well physically. Not
only does the faith affect our lives, but the FX are universal! Catholic means universal,
and as such our faith not only calls us as individuals to experience Christ, but so too we are called to spread Catholic FX to all!
Ministering to teens
can be a challenge, especially when they aren’t sure what it means for them to truly embrace their faith. Catholic FX is
specifically for teens and young adults. We are a ministry of young adults in collaboration
with college and high school age volunteers who wish to share our gifts and experiences of the of our Catholic faith with the Church’s Youth. Rooted in solid
Catholic Theology, Catholic FX
offers a wide variety of ministries to assist your youth group.
Pope John
Paul II has described the Catholic faith as “a new way of living.” Christ
has given us His Church to ensure we live our lives to the fullest in receiving all the blessings and graces he wishes to
bestow on us. The youth of today are a generation of “so what?” They seek to know the FX
of their faith. As a ministry we will present the FX not merely through words, but actions. St. Anthony of Padua stated, “our words are alive when our
works speak.” The FX of being Catholic cannot be heard they must be seen and experienced. The
use of a retreat team enables your youth to come together as a community and experience their faith as a whole. It can lead them deeper or in their faith, or ignite the fire in their hearts to really dive in and commit their
lives to it!
Our services
include, but are not limited to, Talks, Retreats, and Music Ministry. Our talk topics
include Confirmation, The Eucharist, Vocations, The Holy Spirit, and Chastity, among others.
Our “FX” weekend retreats or days of reflection help young people to see how God
is already at work in their lives and offer practical steps to how they can seek and find a deeper and more personal relationship
with Him. These retreats can be in-school, youth group weeknights, or even confirmation evenings.
We also offer “FX” nights: a unique ministry that incorporates music and talks on a topic
you can select in a one night session. Our Music Ministry is comprised of musicians
who play a variety of styles - from Contemporary Christian Rock, to traditional Church Hymns teens will recognize from Mass
- and can be a delightful addition to the celebration of the Eucharist, Eucharistic Adoration, or “Prayer and Praise”
Nights (Worship Nights), which enable your youth to enjoy the Christian music they like in a context of prayer and worship.
We offer all these
services and are willing to do anything else you feel may help your youth group. We
do this in order to share the faith that has given us so much joy in our lives, and to show your teens what it truly means
to be Catholic!
