Worship Music is a "vehicle" that is integral to any gathering for prayer. Music is an invitation;
it invites us deeper. Through music, walls of the nervousness and anxiety are broken. It is our mission to provide
music that can can be used as an invitation/vehicle to bring our listeners closer to the Lord through prayerful worship.
"Then the LORD said, "Go outside and stand on the mountain before the LORD; the LORD will be passing
by." A strong and heavy wind was rending the mountains and crushing rocks before the LORD--but the LORD was not in the wind.
After the wind there was an earthquake--but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake there was fire--but the
LORD was not in the fire. After the fire there was a tiny whispering sound. When he heard this, Elijah hid his face in his
cloak and went and stood at the entrance of the cave. A voice said to him, 'Elijah, why are you here?'" -1Kings 19:11-13
Our worship band is not just about the notes that are played, the melodies that are heard, or the words
that are spoken - we are about Praying our gifts. It is our prayer that those who hear us will experience God's whisper in
and through our music.
We encourage others to join in worshiping our Lord through our ministry - which is only effective through
the influence of the Holy Spirit. "When we sing we pray twice," says St. Augustine. Song is a form of prayer - and
we hope to bring teens into a deep prayer with Jesus.
